Every month the M&FRC will provide a Pre Arrival Q&A workshop briefing to answer any questions inbound members and their families may have about the Scott AFB community. This Q&A brief will be via Zoom, be sure to locate the workshop and register in the Calendar of Events tab. An optional workshop for military members and spouses preparing for a PCS move. Individuals planning their final separation or retirement relocation are also invited to attend. Briefers include M&FRC, TRICARE, Personal Property Office, EFMP, and Base Housing.

Moving Tips That Can Save You Money
All AF members should be assigned a sponsor at their gaining location to assist them in preparing for their move as well as helping during the new arrival.
If you have not heard from a sponsor and within 90 days of your RNLTD, contact the M&FRC for assistance in locating your sponsor.
All sponsors are required to complete the virtual electronic Sponsorship Application Training (eSAT).
To request supplemental sponsor training for your unit please contact the M&FRC at (618) 256-8668.
Individuals selected for an “UNACCOMPANIED ASSIGNMENT” who are married OR have dependents are required to complete a “Remote Tour Briefing”.
Members will receive Information and enrollment into the M&FRC’s Hearts Apart Program for family members of those with an unaccompanied assignment. Spouses are highly encouraged to attend with the member. To schedule your Remote Tour Briefing please call the M&FRC at (618) 256-8668.
The M&FRC sponsors a free Loan Locker to provide newly arrived and departing members of Team Scott a place to borrow household items as they await the arrival or departure of their own items.
The Loan Locker is staffed 0700 – 1600 Monday - Friday. The Loan Locker is closed every third Thursday of the month for training, and on federal holidays, and base down days. Please call (618) 256-8668 for assistance.
Items available for loan include folding tables, kitchen items such as cookware, dishes, and small appliances (toasters, coffee maker). Linens are not available.
Items may be extended beyond 30 days in certain situations, based on availability. “In-place” personnel may not utilize the Loan Locker due to limited availability of items.
