The Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) at Scott AFB strives to deliver support programs and services for both short term and long-term recovery following all-hazard incidents & authorized evacuations. The M&FRC provides support in multiple ways to include community disaster education and support, Evacuation Operations, Emergency Family Assistance Center’s (EFAC), and the needs assessment portion of the Air Force Personnel Accountability & Assessment System (AFPAAS). Crisis support services can be delivered in virtual, telephonic, or at established emergency family assistance centers (EFAC) to address individual and family needs.
The Emergency Family Assistance response is the central point for the delivery of the services, which address the practical and emotional needs of families arising from an all-hazard incident. It coordinates family assistance services from governmental and non-governmental entities, and delivery of continuous family assistance information.
